Who can see your content
Public challenge content may be visible to anyone. Private challenge content is intended for invited or approved members, but members can still save or share what they see. Your profile, posts, photos, videos, and progress may be visible based on the challenge and privacy settings you choose.
Never post sensitive personal information, financial account details, passwords, government identification, or another person’s private information.
How information is shared
We use service providers for hosting, authentication, data storage, email delivery, security, and analytics. They may process information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer.
ChallengeMates does not sell your personal information. We do not hold or manage money that users choose to save during a challenge.
Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security. We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for the service, safety, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and enforcement. Some backups and safety records may remain for a limited period after deletion.
Your choices and rights
- Update your profile and challenge privacy choices.
- Delete content where the product provides that option, or request account deletion.
- Control optional communications and device notification settings.
- Request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information where applicable law provides those rights.
Children and changes
ChallengeMates is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected a child’s information without appropriate permission, we will take steps to remove it.
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when a change is significant. Privacy questions or requests can be submitted through the support and reporting tools available in ChallengeMates.
