Child Safety Standards
ChallengeMates has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards explain how we prevent, report, and respond to child safety risks.
Effective October 1, 2026
Zero tolerance for abuse and exploitation
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation, sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to sexualize or endanger a child is prohibited.
- Users must never create, upload, request, share, store, promote, or link to content that sexually exploits or abuses a child.
- Users must not contact a child for sexual purposes, solicit sexual images, or use ChallengeMates to facilitate abuse on or off the service.
In-app reporting and blocking
Users can report unsafe challenges, posts, comments, proof, profiles, and private messages through ChallengeMates reporting tools. Private messages also include a Block option.
To report a private message, open the conversation and select Report beneath the message. To report other content, use the Report option attached to that content. Reports are sent to our moderation tools with the relevant context for review.
How we respond
- We review reports and may remove content, close challenges, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access.
- We preserve relevant records when necessary for safety, investigation, legal compliance, or enforcement.
- When we become aware of apparent CSAM or child exploitation, we report it to the appropriate regional or national authorities and cooperate with lawful requests.
Compliance and cooperation
ChallengeMates complies with applicable child safety laws and maintains processes designed to prevent, detect, and address child sexual abuse and exploitation.
We respond to valid legal requests and work with relevant authorities when a report indicates that a child may be in danger.
